Buy a Pair - Give a Pair

It's 2011 and we have all heard about Tom's one-for-one campaign (and probably have more than one pair...SO comfy and a wonderful cause), but I have found the one-for-one campaign for GLASSES!

I could not be more excited about Warby Parker's Buy a Pair, Give a Pair policy.

Here's the deal, ALL the glasses are only $95 and when you buy a pair a person in need also receives a pair in countries like Latin America, Africa, South Asia and the U.S. Warby Parker is partnered with Restoring Vision to accomplish this extraordinary cause.

Even better? The glasses designs are stylish and seriously compete with high-end designers.

EVEN better? Free everything (pretty much)...shipping, at home try-ons and returns!

SO, with so many cute options, which ones should I buy?!?!

If you understand what it's like to wake up in the morning without the ability to see across the room, or the terror of loosing a contact, or being deemed illegal to drive without glasses or contacts....think of the 500 million + people who face this fear every day!

Support this AMAZING cause. (I am not a sponsor or affiliated with Warby Parker in any way...just a big fan!)

Twitter. Friend or Foe?

The Atlanta Journal Constitution recently published an article stating: "Tweet your way to a job or more successful career."

I don't know about you, but as a twenty-three year old recent college graduate I have a blog (previously created for course requirement purposes, now just fun), Twitter @BrittniFaith, LinkedIn profile and a Facebook (although I am currently on a 30 day facebook fast as the job search progresses).

I have, to date, found one job posting of any interest or relevance on Twitter. I did get a response from the Direct Message I sent, but the company and position did not turn out to be what I was hoping for.

I would of course recommend any and all social media savy individuals to read the article. If nothing else it gives some companies to follow on Twitter and sites to check out:

I also recommend making a Twellow.com profile (yellow pages of Twitter) and an online portfolio to showcase your work.

Editorial Obsessed

Since the tender (and impressionable) age of twelve, when I discovered the oh so cute J.T.T. Jonathan Taylor Thomas in Teen Beat Magazine and the beautiful homes in Southern Living, I have been editorial obsessed.
I love to read - anything, but I'm especially in love with these very insightful, wonderfully creative and entertaining magazines (print and online):

Fayette Woman (gotta rep my hometown)

Life goal?? To be the Editor in Chief of Southern Living Magazine (one can dream).

Vintage Prep....the RIGHT way!

My latest obsession? Vintage preppy style.

Although I have always loved my Brooks Brothers button downs and Lilly Pulitzer dresses, I also love twisting in my own personality into everyday classics. I would never consider myself trendy...I don't follow the next "cool" trend. Stay classic and never go out of style.

If you are in love with great deals, unique vintage clothing and one-of-a-kind finds...welcome to etsy.com.

Here are some of my recent finds for all who love classic style with a vintage twist:
