MM: Monogram Monday

I have a slightly unhealthy love of Monograms. It is true.
But, acceptance is the first step right?
So, in that spirit...I hereby do accept to incorporate all of the below into my
home/life in the near future.

THE Reading List. #PRIntern #HAPPO

I am OFFICIALLY one, yes one, month away from finishing my internship and I terror (of not finding a real job and being an intern for the rest of my life) has set in. I have literally absolutely LOVED my internship. Learned a ton, made some new friends and got published (more than once thankyouverymuch).
So, as reality starts to hit I've been reading, ALOT. My go-to is PRDaily of course, but I've also stumbled upon some great blogs. I will never tire of learning and discovering new, cutting-edge, ways to become the best at what I do.
I wrote a few press releases this week so I've been reading up on SEO techniques for press releases and how to pitch to the media. There are also a few Twitter-related articles that I found super interesting. ENJOY!

Masters. HELLO! This is the first year I haven't been in a while, but I will certainly be watching all day Sunday. Sundays and golf are just meant to be.

Hope your weekends are just as beautiful and exciting!

Georgia, we both learned to compromise.

Yes, you are correct, Hanson lyrics are always appropriate blog titles. Just bringing back a little bit of childhood.
Georgia days like today (85 and perfectly sunny) makes me want to...

Sit on a porch like this...

While drinking Sweet Tea like this....

While reading this...

Yep, that pretty much sums up every hope and daydream I'll be having from the office tomorrow. Holy moly shouldn't I be on spring break right now or something?!?

Anywho, I started the new part-time job today. Wish me luck on day numero dos. My life is such a crazy mixture of random jobs right now I can hardly keep track...internship, social media assistant, dance instructor, assistant event coordinator (pending when needed)...
Still praying for the full-time gig!

Rest.

Photo courtesy of We Heart It

Today was just one of those days where nothing seemed to go as planned!
I woke up late, forgot to pour a tumbler of coffee before leaving for work (I NEED coffee, I am NOT a morning person) and on top of that, I sat in traffic for 30+ mins. exactly two exits away from the office....with no coffee. Wonderful.
Oh, and I also didn't do my devotional this morning because I was running late. But it was honestly a blessing in disguise (as most mishaps are) because as I sat down to read what I had missed tonight, it was a total blessing and exactly what I needed to hear after the emotional roller-coaster that was today (I'll spare you the details).

So here's the little nugget of knowledge from Jesus Calling:

"Rest in My Presence. The world around you seems to spin faster and faster, till everything is a blur. Yet there is a cushion of calm at the center of your life, where you live in union with Me. Return to Me as often as you can, for this is where you are energized: filled with My Love, Joy, and Peace.
The world is a needy place; do not go there for sustenance. Instead, come to Me. Learn to depend on Me alone, and your weakness will become My Power. When you find your completeness in Me, you can help other people without using them to meet your own needs. Live in the Light of My Presence, and your light will shine brightly into the lives of others."

Inspired by: Galatians 5:22, 1 John 4:12

Did I mention I am seriously craving a vacation (hence the photo)....too bad I'm in the real world and not on Spring Break right now....

Welcome to my Heaven.

Yes, I love Lilly Pulitzer, this is no surprise. I saw this article on Lilly's new furniture line (although I have heard rumors over the past month or so) in House Beautiful while hitting up the elliptical today and got way too excited.
This intern budget can't quite afford anything above Walmart prices, but one day...one day.
